Purpose of treatment:
This antibiotic is used to treat a variety of infections in pediatrics, most commonly skin infections or urinary tract infections.
- Ingredients: An antibiotic from the cephalosporin family called cephalexin.

How to use:
Dosage will be determined by the attending physician depending on the site of infection and the child’s weight. The daily dosage will always be divided three times a day. The maximum dose is 500 mg per dose three times a day (and in rare severe cases up to 1000mg three times a day).

Benefits:
Relatively speaking, it is a narrow-spectrum antibiotic that covers mainly bacteria that are found on the skin and cause skin infections and some of the bacteria causing urinary tract infections.

Side Effects:
Mild abdominal pain and soft stools. With severe sensitivity to penicillin antibiotics, do not use this antibiotic either.
