Why is the drug here:
Nasal spray for the treatment of inflammation of the nasal mucosa (especially allergic rhinitis).

Purpose of treatment:
To treat and reduce symptoms of rhinitis from an allergic source including congestion and runny nose, itching and sneezing.
- Ingredients: A steroid called Fluticasone.

How to use:
Over the age of 12, the dose is usually 1-2 clicks per nostril once daily. Between the ages of 2-12 years (the drug is not approved for use in younger children), the dose is one click in each nostril once daily.

Easy to use, effective as a local treatment.

Side Effects:
Side effects of topical steroids are uncommon if used for a short term regimen of several days.
