Clinical piuctures – slapped cheeks in Parvovirus Infection

Infection with the parvo B19 occurs mainly in children aged 5-15 years, at the end of winter and spring. The virus causes different clinical presentations, among those the Fifth disease or erythema Infectiosum with pronounced rash on the cheeks, similar to slapped cheeks.
