Creams that are frequently used in pediatrics to treat various kinds of dermatitis.
Purpose of treatment:
For the treatment of dermatitis (non-specific skin inflammation) caused by a combination of skin contaminants, including bacteria and fungi.
In fact, since the cream is non-specific and includes everything (antibiotics, anti-fungal and steroid), it is difficult to miss when using it.
Ingredients: Three ingredients - an antibiotic called Neomycin, an antifungal called Clotrimazole and a steroid called Dexamethasone.
How to use:
Apply to the affected area 3 times a day, usually for a limited number of days. Do not apply to facial skin.
A basic and non-specific combination that helps a lot of skin problems in children.
The main side effects are related to the fact that this cream has a relatively potent steroid and therefore – should not be applied to the facial skin and should not be treated beyond 3-5 days in a row.
Another word from the doctor:
A very useful cream in pediatrics, that helps in a variety of conditions including severe diaper rash. However, do not treat beyond the specified number of days I have indicated.
