Bronchodilator which is one of the most common and useful inhaler in pediatrics.
Purpose of treatment:
For the treatment of asthma attack in children using inhalers. In the vast majority of cases it will be given together with another steroid inhaler through a spacer inhaler.
Note, this drug is a great when combined with steroids in the treatment of an acute asthma attack. It is not a good remedy for the prevention of asthma attacks or as a routine treatment frequently.
Ingredients: A bronchodilator called salbutamol.
How to use:
Usually two clicks, with a break time of ten seconds between each click. Two to three tomes a day and even more, as recommended by a doctor.
First of all, there are advantages for using the inhaler – as I will write soon in the chapter discussing the differences between inhalations and inhaler. There is a real advantage to treating children with inhalers over inhalations, and if inhalers are used then this one of the most useful inhaler for young children.
Mostly tachycardia, tremor and unpleasant feeling for the child. If this happens you can reduce the number of clicks.
Another word from the doctor:
I recommend that everyone read the basic chapter on the use of inhalations or inhalers in the link below (soon).
