Reducing fever in children with the help of medication
There are two types of medicines that are commonly used to reduce fever in children: Paracetamol / Acetominophen or Ibuprofen.
What about Dipyrone and aspirin?
Dipyrone and aspirin are not recommended in children and that is why I will not be discussing them here. They might be recommended by your primary care physician, in very specific cases, for children who are unable to take paracetamol or ibuprofen.
